So thats a NO then?
I think so.

What about chemical dipping as used on chassis and body parts that gets rid of anything organic

Not sure about Resin fillers. But I tried Moroso block filler on a RV8 test engine and found that despite me doing the filling procedure as per the book.

The filler expanded to the point where it split the ally block both sides around each middle core plug.

The filler, when mixed with water looked just like the floor levelling compound you can buy from builders merchants.

I wouldn't want a cooling compromised block in mid engined setup. A 302 block is hardly unobtainium - sell it and start with a normal block.

Thanks Elliot

That is what I have decided.

See what older blocks come up as I need pre 75 to help on emissions

I doubt that's an issue now that the car is on the road....

Anyway - anything pre-cat (~1991?) will piss past emissions if it's tuned nicely or injected.

Car is registered as 2006 so emissions are 2006 or date of engine, whatever is older.

I fancy old school quad Webbers now mention that and emissions in the same breath and most people suck a lot of air through their teeth!
