2.8 injector tank differs from a carb tank by having some baffles in it.
It vented to the atmosphere with a plastic vent tube on top of the tank.
These vent tube sometimes get blocked.
I once in a while blow it open with my compressor air gun, just from under the Capri on the vent tube.... but with the fuel cap removed so the compressed air can vent out without blowing up the tank.

Fuel pump sits aside of the tank ( not below ).
