I think you are setting yourself up for an expensive exercise. From what I have read, getting those sort of figures from a 3,5 is possible, but needs really deep pockets.
Is there any reason you are determined to use a 3,5 and not a 4,6?

300BHP is Rover Stage 4 UBV heads, Merlins or The TA's. and to keep the revs at a level not to require forged pistons, steel rods and steel rocker gear /rollers etc. It will have to be over 4.5L.
Induction, exhausts and ignition to suit.
Or forced induction
Big valve RV8 stage 3 heads do not flow enough for (a genuine) 300BHP N/A
Whatever the capacity RV8's are head restricted, so for power that it where your budget starts to be spent to meet your goal.
As a rough guide
Standard valves 240BHP
Big Valves - 280BHP (standard seats)
Ultra Big Valves - 320BHP (new seats)

well me and my friend decided to start looking for a 4.9 or possably a tvr engine instead of the 3.5
the reason i first thought about the 3.5 there is a guy selling a some engines so i had that idea but were gonna look into a tvr engine instead something i can rebuild and then hop up and there will be NOOOOOOO forced induction and NOOOO N2O so please stop bringing it up
