advice tuning edelbrock carb on rover v8 3.5

need a bit of advice tuning my rover v8 with edelbrock carb as i was having starting issues, iv had a quick play and put the timing to 6 degrees, and the co is 2.4 at idle, not done anything with the fuel pressure yet but it is starting better now,

can anyone give me advice on the correct timing, co reading and fuel pressure is i should have for best economy
