Build in a consol and fit a "Ferrari" style billet gear gate piece

Absolute pain to get the correct spacing on the cut outs

On the Gt40 I use a rectangular chut out on ali plate with a lever on the left that I can unclip to allow reverse to get selected. Have to make 2 movements
1) Remove lock out
2) Select Reverse

Then also don't forget to relocate the lock out (Easy as it sticks in my knee!)

I think I'm missing something here.......

Does the LT77 not have a reverse detent plate fitted to the selector housing? :?

Standard SD1 LT77 has a reverse detent plate underneath and a bias spring on top so the lever naturally sits in the 3rd/4th position.

Regards,

Dave

have studied box and tried new bush but not solved, the gearstick has been bent to fit some other car and in turn i think has broken the black plastic housing which i guess covers the selector/holds inbetween 3rd and 4th does anone have one please
