Wow!!
What a tidy job there mate. Well done.
I'll bung some of those pics on the MGOC forum as there is a lot of interest in the 5 on there. To see one with Rover power is good.

It's Andy Rogers. I wish I could take credit for the build but it wasn't me.
However I bought the car of ebay over a year ago and have been doing bits to it ever since, like new rad, carbs, manifold, exhaust, just replaced the rockers, for the ones in the photo, and countless other bits. I now think I may have to rebuild or replace the engine.
I have a feeling I may have seen you go down the Pod at a RWYB earlier this year.

Tight! Are the exhaust manifolds hug the block specials or standard tubular ones?

Hey, got started on my version now! One of the things I want to sort out is power steering- or ditching it! I drive a Landy, lorry, plant, farm stuff, pull trailers and everything else so I'm not worried about the steering being a little bit stiff, but noticed there is a pulley on the right hand side of your engine which could either be power steering or air con- which is it?
Just want to know how it drives if it doesnt have pas!
Also can anyone tell me roughly how much power the pas pump takes to drive? No point having luxuries like that when they cost power!- air con pump went in the scrap bin!

power steering

AIR CON  The roof is down whenever possible thats my air con :D .
It's a power steering pump you can see, probably doesnt really need it though, English 5's didn't have it and the car is no heavier with the Rover lump in it.

Dont suppose you can post a couple of decent pics of the underneath? Want to see how the drivetrain fits in place of the old as they have a funny lattice connecting everything up and the diff is a different shape!!!

Will try and get a few pictures this weekend and post them up, hopefully you'll be able to see something besides oil.

That'd be brilliant thanks Andy, I just want to see how much the layout changes and how the rear diff is fixed on!!
