NOT HAPPY!!!!

Post by ppyvabw »

Went outside this morning to discover some **** has run into my car. Must have happened before and I have not noticed it because the damaged side is parked away from the road.

Some arsehole looks as if they have hit it whilst trying to park. It has pushed the fibreglass wing in, pushed the metal inner wing in, cracked the fibreglass and the the outer wing has sprung back.

That's gonna be the wing off because I can't get behind it to repair it or a whole new set of wings because I can only get them in sets of four.

If I find the bastard in Durham sporting new blue paint scratches, I am going to rip their balls off and they will die a slow painful death. No note or anything.

I came out from a job today to discover some cock had put sommat on the bonnet of my truck. Must have been a box or something.
There are several deep scratches in my laquer that outline the shape of something about 20" square with staples in the bottom. What a tosser..

I was in a customers car park so it could have been any one of a 1000 visitors to the shopping centre.

Sooner or later equipment like that found at http://www.dogcamsport.co.uk will drop low enough that we can fit it to our prides and joys and then we may have a better chance of finding the pond scum who do these things.

There are some bastards about.

Good news today though. My insurance company rang. It was a bus that hit me, and he reported it to the local polizia, and they contacted my insurance. He didn't leave a note in case it got lost.

Soo....this is going to be an expensive specialist job by a profesional body shop.

That won't be cheep!
Good to hear you have some one own up to it (but with a bus full of witnesses I supose you can't deny it)

The bus company's insurance are sending an assessor round to look at it. I have just been to get a quote from a guy for £180 quid but he's only going to fill up the cracks and rejoin the inner wing.

I would be happier with a whole new wing because all the Gel coat is now flaking off. Not sure if the fibreglass itself is cracked or not, but you can't get behind to reinforce it. The paint and gel coat is all crazed all the way up to the window. There is also the inner wing that needs hammering back out. I'm not sure it will every be as good just filling up the holes with new gel coat or body filler.

What would you say? Shall I make sure the assessor assesses for a whole new wing or not?

wow that's wicked that the bus driver did that. My mate got hit by a bus, while IN his car, and he had to chase the bloody bus for 2 miles, when he managed to stop the bus, the driver denied all knowledge! He was a scouser though.

My daughter was forced off the road by a rookie bus driver going too fast on a narrow lane. The bus company denied running buses along that route! When asked to read their own timetable they had a re-think. :mob
