35D8 Exploded Parts Diagram on the web

Post by Stoat »

Hi there,

Does anyone know if there is a exploded parts diagram for the 35D8 dissy on the net?

My vacuum advance appears to have "disconnected" and I'd like to know what I should expect to see before I start stripping :-}

It's probably the diaphram in the vacuum can you can test it by sucking the tube and if there's no resistance you need a new one.

There available from Rimmer Bros for an exorbitant £40.

Tried that, when I suck, the lever moves but the baseplate doesn't.

Hi ,
There's two different types of points for the 35 D8.
One type has a peg on the bottom that engages the vacuum advance lever. The other type doesn't.
Could you have the wrong type of points fitted ?

I think this problem started when I converted it to a Lumenition electronic system...............

I'll pull the distributor out and have a look.
