Shed find..........( it wasn't a barn......)

1973 3.0 GXL in a pretty good shape. Engine & tranny in a good condition and minor welding work required. Factory sliding sunroof, folding rear windows, narrow Capri axle and so on.

This might be my new V8 project.........so I allready ordered a set of bubble arches for the mk1 Capri to get some wide rubber fitted.
Have no clue how this will look cause I have never saw a Capri fitted with those arches but I do like it on the Escorts.

This time I was glad to have my own trailer......cause the brakes where realy stuck on this one after all those years.

Recieved the arches yesterday from Smith and Deakin so I did a quick fitment using ducktape....

A quick measuremend gave me almost 4" extension at the front and a 3 1/2 "at the back.

Eeeehh no I am not going to put them on this rare green beast
.

Here's a Photshop version
