Hi, thanks for the reply but I wish it was that simple, Unfortunately I am running a supercharger with all the associated bracketry and pulleys, hence why it would be much easier to use the interim front cover and retain the current set up, but have the better oil pump thats fitted to the later type...

Interim cover onto a 1983 3.5
Hi Guys, after a bit of advice, I have a 3.5 efi (1983) fitted with duplex timing chain and cam driven dizzy with oil pump, I want to swap to the later interim cover with the crank driven pulley, what is needed to carry out the conversion? Don't need the dizzy drive anymore as running coil packs, ju...

Hi Viper, thanks for the oil pump tip, if my new set up does not improve things, I will give you a shout for more info. Ref the blower improvements, gained 55hp and 70lbs of torque, peak power is available from 1700rpm through to 5400 before it starts dipping, engine is a bit gutless under 1300rpm b...

Would recon that you will need to sort out some form of bypass either vacuum or electronic from the throttle body to the plenum. I have been running my Eaton M90 after the throttle body on my efi 3.5 V8 for a year now with no adverse effects other than a poor hot idle due to the length of the inlet...

Have a look at these chaps http://www.sc-power.co.uk/
They do it for 5L V8's so can't see it being a problem, fairly certain TVRpower in Coventry do it aswell.

Well spotted, chopped the throttle body off the plenum and adapted it to fit the M90, turned the plenum through 180* to make an easier route for the intercooler induction pipes. Not using a hotwire 14cux, as still on a flapper set up with a jag afm and an adjustable 4cu ecu. Got around most of the p...

Idle problems
Having some problems maintaining a stable idle after reving the engine, Currently running an Eaton M90 on a TVR 3.5l, Jag injectors/AFM and adjustable 4cu ECU. The engine starts and runs great but is prone to cutting out if you come off the throttle quickly, have tried allsorts of tweaking but cant ...
