Compression DOES make a big difference - many years ago I had a single plenum Vitesse and I could'nt understand why it felt flat - in the end I just got used to the torque. However, when I broke it for spares it turned out that the original 9.75:1 motor had been replaced with an 8.13:1 unit from a r...

Diagnostic socket?

Does anybody know the true purpose of the socket? It's the one with the cover that unscrews. My SD1 was previously a 2300 which now has a V8, however when I looked at mine the wires had been cut.

Core Plugs

When refitting core plugs, do you guys just drift them in with a socket or something? Do you use any sealant? Your advice would be appreciated.
