hi there , need some advise about my overheating woes. im running a MK1 capri with a 302 ford lump, i just cant stop the temp rising. im using an ldv 3 core rad with twin 11" pusher fans, and now resorted to fitting a engine driven fan as well.still no good. i did take the stat out(not sure if ...

this is a new build, the problem is on the right hand manifold, the rear three tubes & the collector clear the steering but the front tube is directly where the steering shaft is

small block headers for mk1 capri

hi guys, i've got a problem with the the exhaust headers on my 302 capri. the right one( mustang shortie headers) is fouling the steering shaft. has anybody come across this problem & any ideas to a solution.

hi guys, found a MK2 granada 2.8(non injection) in my local scrapyard today. the rev counter has the adjustment pot, fits straight in the capri dash cluster & even the needle matches & is the same colour.Wont be able to try it for a while as i'm quite early on in the project

hi guys, can anybody tell me how to convert my capri rev counter to eight cylinders. when i did my V8 escort i used an early rover sd1 rev counter, is this still the method used?

spigot bearing

just thought i'd tell you i went to bearing services limited (BSL) & they supplied me with a bearing.This is a 6202-2RS1 bearing. it has an outside diameter of 35mm & an inside diameter of 15mm. I've fitted this in the crankshaft & fitted the gearbox & everything fits perfect

The input shaft is 15mm in diameter. Pretty sure this is a standard ford size. I'm sure i've heard that a 3ltr capri bearing would fit can anyone confirm this.

Have tried real steal who said they could make one but was just wondering if there is an off the shelf bearing from another engine that i can use. Will try V8 tuner now.

hi there, can anybody help me ? i've purchased a flywheel & clutch kit to convert my ford 302 from auto to manual but the spigot bearing supplied is no good for the cosworth t5 box i'm using as its designed for a mustang t5 which has a different input shaft diameter.
