Running a 10.5" McLeod street strip kit from RealSteel for years now. Sinter Organic full face for years on the Supercharged. Superb on the street. Just handles like a daily. Perfect on the strip.

Skip the Facet, they do not deliver enough for the 4-barrel carb. Especialy when they are hot.

Been there today. They overhauled the pump within two hours. It should have uprated bearings and uprated seal now as they say.

Its not the tappets, you have probably some worn rockers. Easy to check. Remove them from the bar and look inside for their wear pattern.

If you want to run the pump faster why not just have a smaller diameter pulley machined up for the P6 one you have? From memory the standard P6 pulley is about 8 or 9 inches diameter - that pump flange has plenty of scope to accommodate a smaller pulley.

Its 3.25" from flange to engine mount. Figured its shorter as Buick 340 (that should be 4").

Thing is, wherever I asked, nobody has an engine for sale or is willing to ship to Holland.

Well Rhoads is what I like as I have several V8's running them. Its a personal choise.
Quad carbs aint complicated, the are like tripples on a V6 setup within minuts. Never had issues with multiple carbs that might be cause I am a biker runing multiple carbs daily
