That O2 sensor is not standard fitment in that position. I used to have the cat downpipes on my '93 and then removed in favour of non cat. I don't believe the non cat downpipe has an O2 sensor position (mine doesn't!) so that looks to have been added afterwards. On the cat downpipes there are two se...

That link requires you to register to view. Photobucket and others have a direct link facility to a single pic. Even if you are registered on Google docs it returns the error documentt not available. As for two sets of 5 blue wires bridged. Unless a previous owner has done a load of wring changes t...

There should be a round three pin plug that hands down from the wiring loom attached to the bulkhead on each side of the engine. If you cant find it I can try and take a pic at the weekend Rob

Mike. Thanks for your help so far (and everyone else who has contributed) At this point I was planning on new cam and followers. I did ask about the rockers arms and shafts as one arm looks a bit dodgy where No1 push rod has been banging around. Nothing about the valves springs or cam had been chang...

Just other alternative things to consider. Did you change the rocker shafts and cam bearings as well or just the cam and followers J...

Hi These engines need 20/50 in them as the oil pump is designed to run with the stuff and all the bearing clearances are intended for 20/50. If you run thinner oil, firstly the tapets do not operate as designed, they will tend to be partially collapsed as the oil is too thin and flows too easily ou...
