I haven't had chance to do anything to sort my problem yet but today I found this release bearing in the garage which came with my car this is another one I have found as I mentioned finding one earlier in my posts, any thoughts, it's a little off centre again wonder if my clutch pull line bein out ...

Thanx for your help, the release bearing seemed ok when I span it, is there a way of telling it's starting to sieze? Also when I bought the car It came with some spares and bits and bobs, there was a used release bearing in with all the bits and when I found it it was knackered, it wouldn't spin and...

Thanks, just wondering on the clutch you use are the fingers curved as mine are flat, I see what you mean now, maybe my bracket has maybe some how moved, I will try and modify it before doing anything drastic like removing all the gearbox haha, how was your arm modified inside as mine didn't seem to...

Hi, thanks for your reply,so the setup I have is nothing unusual which is a good start, please could you point me in the right direction on how to get a better pull line, if the arm has bent that would maybe explain why it worked before ( even tho a little noisy) and now it has the problem even with...

the ends of the fingers on my old clutch housing are all shiny as if the bearing has been polishing them up, is this normal? is a cosworth bearing a self centering one? the bell housing im using is a cosworth one i think, will it help if i post some pics? like i say what puzzles me is the car has wo...

its in the car again now, i was aware of that when i bought and fitted the new clutch but all i have done is replace the clutch with exactly the same items as the old one and it worked without this problem, thats why im so confused, if i was to change say the release bearing for a round faced one ho...

hi, the fingers are flat however again would that affect it so that 90% of the time it would work, i put the noise that its always had down to that however this is louder and mre violent when stood in gear clutch pressed, im feeling more confident on solving it now with all you clever lot :D :D

hi i thought about the bearing but as it duz it every now and again i thought something else, i asume i have enough movement in the clutch as i can adjust it so my pedal wont go all the way to the floor so i asume that the housing fingers are fully depressed, the clutch is cable, if i film it so the...
