I put new spark plugs on my 3.9 EFI V8 engine and have one problem.

When i took off the spark plugs i saw that they are too black . It isn´t normal,right? Maybe very rich petrol mixture ?? How i can put a good petrol mixture?

i have a 3.9 EFI V8 engine with Crower 50299 cam, KN filter and "edman headers" manifolds.
Now its time to make a new stainless steel exhaust system and put a magnaflow muffler. What is the diameter of the tube do you advise for my engine? (maybe 60 mm --> 2.5 inches???)

I will trust you and put a 20w50 fully synthetic oil. I think my engine is dead because the oils used in POrtugal!!
We use 5w40.

Yes, that´s right. I have one white Range rover V8 on 35" from Portugal.

My engine is a 3.9i...The block was fully rebuilded in past week.....Now it´s time to rebuild the heads :wink:

The block is already fully rebuilded, and now it´s time to rebuild the heads.
i have cleaned the heads with petrol and now they are with a better look.

for a rebuilded engine (3.9i EFI rover engine) what´s the best oil to use?
Mineral 20w50 MOBIL1 for example?
or a fully syntethic oil?

The block area is fully rebuilded right now ...now i´m going to heads area.
