Cheers, that's the same list we have on this site, the confusion lies between the 341***** No. and the compression ratio not matching.

I think we'll end up rebuilding and sticking some higher comp. pistons in anyway.

Greetings gentlemen, We're trying to identify a v8 engine that was purchased this week, The number isn't listed in the current list in the stickys at the beginning of this section. From the stampings we've got a Comp ratio of 8.13 and an engine number of 34127079F, Anyone able to shed some light on ...

Thanks for that, I've been wondering what the serpentine cover was as i've read plenty of people commenting on it.

Do you or anyone else know of any good material for reading up on the differecies between the engines? I've got both hardcastle books and they make no comment to them.
