Depends on budget. Cheapest - file exhaust ports to match the manifold. Or send the heads to Roland Marlow at ACR Automotive for a proper doing. he did mine - there is not much he doesn't know about V8's.
My 4.8 v8 pulls 300 hp at 6150 rpm. Same torque at 4000.

TVR Power V8
I have just taken the cam out of this 4.6 block. It reads TVR 51.
Any ideas? Have replaced with a Piper 285.

Oil change.
As above, drain sump, refill sump. Then unscrew filter, fill with oil, attach. If you drain the sump, then unscrew the filter, then you run the risk of syphoning the pump dry - especially if it is a bit worn. Oil for R380
What is the best oil grade and type to put in a newly reconditioned R380 gearbox, running a Landrover 90 with a 4.8 litre V8, 300 hp, 300 ft/lbs, 1.66-1 transfer box (18mph per 1000 rpm)? Engine revs to 6150. Road use only.
